Sick.
This whole disgusting sore throat thing got old really fast, and every time I think it’s going to calm down, it swells up and hurts again. I thought about taking a picture, but then realized I left my camera elsewhere, and when I searched photos of my particular ailment, I decided they were too gross to share…
Good grief I miss feeling normal.
And I miss food tasting normal.
And I miss having energy.
And most of all, I miss going to work. Being sick does not help me feel creative at all. Poo.

odd mood + free time = creativity
Yesterday was a frustrating day. I’m not really sure why, I was just in an odd mood, some sort of irritated funk. But, what do we like to do when we’re frustrated, take our minds off it right? Well me being an artist and all I’ll draw, or paint, or write or… tattoo myself!
So this is the product of my day, done by me obviously, after hours at the shop :)
Tattooing yourself is not the easiest thing by the way. It hurt… haha

can you design tattoos from a photograph? i love your work its really lovely :)
Yes definitely I can design something based on a photograph, unfortunately you’d have to come out to where I am in California, or hope that maybe someday I head out to a convention where ever you are.
Feel free to just reply to me instead of clogging up your page. I was just wondering what is your policy on designing tattoos for others? I am dying to have a James and the Giant Peach sleeve design made up but I can't find an artist. I saw your work on FYT and thought, whoa.
Wow, a James and the Giant Peach sleeve would be AMAZING to do, but unfortunately I can only design stuff for people I’m tattooing. I don’t currently offer any designing outside of that. But I’m sure that a skilled artist that’s located close to you could come up with something awesome with some collaboration. There’s a lot of great art out there, I know sometimes it can be hard to find…
Another option is checking if there are going to be any conventions in your area and then you have the opportunity to select from artists all over the world.
If you ever come to Sacramento, Ca though let me know because I would LOVE to rock a J&GP sleeve for sure. :)

Welp, the new website is up and running. I must say I like it a LOT more and I’ll probably keep it up this way. There are still some area’s under construction… but it’s on it’s way to being finished… woo!
